Position Responsibilities:

  • Lead the production of project documentation including: permit, construction documents, specifications, and project submittals throughout all phases of the design process. Report ongoing drafting / staffing needs with the Design Manager.
  • Collaborate with outside design professionals in the field. Working alongside legacy interior designers, architects, landscape architects, lighting designers, and AV consultants.
  • Schedule daily design / drafting requirements with Design team members.
  • Manage project design scope, budget, and schedule throughout the design process in tandem with the Project Manager's overall job schedules.
  • Initiate interaction with clients, architects/designers, estimators, sales and project managers to develop project design, programming and planning to assure interpretations of client expectations for all phases of design for each project.
  • Set agendas for Client / Design Meetings, publish meeting notes, miscellaneous project correspondence and maintain a running progression of drawing sets.
  • Maintain open and frequent communications with all internal departments involved in the project (Design, Sales & Marketing, Millwork, Construction).
  • Coordinate plans with outside design professionals (architects, interior designers) and consultants (structural, site, MEP, etc.) involved in the project.
  • Maintain design intent and cohesiveness throughout all projects.
  • Research product specifications and systems required for projects


  • 5+ years of full-time architectural experience in the custom high-end residential market
  • A degree in Architecture and/or licensed architect preferred but not required, experience may be substituted for education
  • Intermediate or expert Revit experience is required
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Sketch-Up, and hand sketching
  • Photoshop, Blue Beam, and Procore experience preferred
  • On-site construction observation experience is a plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Ability to manager multiple projects simultaneously
