We are hiring a Information Technology (IT) Technician to join our growing team!
The Information Technology Technician (IT Technology Technician) will assist in maintaining and supporting the organization’s technology infrastructure including but not limited to hardware, software and network systems. This role requires a broad understanding of IT Systems and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.
In this role you will primarily be an ONSITE customer service dedicated technician who can work onsite to provide one on one technical support in person and over the phone to all users in the field and office teams efficiently and accurately.
Core Responsibilities include but are not limited to -
- Troubleshoot IT related issues and enact required solutions or involve next level of support from MSP.
- Provide technical support for computers and associated networks.
- Work closely with the outsourced MSP being their hands and eyes and collaborate on addressing problems.
- Install, troubleshoot, service, and repair personal computers, related PC software, telephones, mobile phones and connectivity issues.
- Connect personal computers and other endpoints and devices to existing data wired, wireless and cellular networks. Performs PC and cell phone setup.
- Instruct and assist users in the use of personal computers, IT bases devices, and networks, and utilization.
- Investigate the information, network, and communications needs of users, and make recommendations regarding software and hardware purchases.
- Maintain and troubleshoot support logs using MSP Helpdesk software.
- Enforce and follow all security and data safety regulations, guidelines, and processes regarding the operation, installation, maintenance, and retirement of PCs and mobile devices and related hardware and software.
- Establish and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction according to defined objectives while adhering to established policies.
- Participate in new installations, testing and special projects as needed.
- May spend portions of the day away from the desk when supporting users and moving equipment.
- Exhibit good communication skills, an energetic approach, and patience with customers.
- Alert management to recurring problems and patterns of problems.
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree with a concentration in computer science, plus at least 7 years of experience
- Proficient experience in Microsoft Office 365, Tenant Admin, One-Drive, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.
- Experience using ComputerEase, Procore, Innergy, and Autodesk Software a plus
