Residential Construction Site Supervisor

We are currently seeking a Residential Construction Site Supervisor for our field operations team. In this role, you will work closely with project managers as you oversee the day-to-day operation of the jobsite from start to finish. In this largely important role, you will be responsible for directing and monitoring the progress of subcontractors while keeping the project on schedule and our clients happy!

This position is travel heavy - you may travel throughout New England and be gone for overnight commitments.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all aspects of a construction project from planning through implementation.
  • Obtain required permits.
  • Manage the layout, organization, and safety of the site.
  • Schedule and supervise onsite personnel and subcontractors.
  • Maintain site records and file daily field reports.
  • Maintain the schedule and project budget.
  • Ensure that work is completed on time and to Woodmeister’s high standards of quality and customer satisfaction.
  • This job requires 75-90% company-sponsored travel.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of high-end design/build residential construction experience.
  • Must have a valid MA Construction Supervisor License.
  • NARI Lead Carpenter certification is a plus, but not required.
  • Ability to develop effective relationships with clients, designers, and subcontractors.
  • Leadership skills to bring projects to completion on time and on budget.
  • Must be deadline and detail-oriented and comfortable with new documentation and reporting systems.
  • Must have a valid drivers license in good standing and be able to travel/stay near job sites locally and throughout the United States.
