Are you a talented Design Drafter with extensive experience using Revit? We want to talk to you!

We are seeking an organized team player with excellent interpersonal skills and strong attention to detail to be a Design Drafter with our Design Support Services team. The successful candidate should have at least 5 years of full-time architectural experience in the custom/high-end residential market and must have thorough understanding and demonstrated knowledge of custom residential building methods and details.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide continuous drafting support for the Design Department throughout all phases of project(s), to include schematic design through full construction documents, and SK process.

  • Participate in the ongoing development of Design Department working drawing standards and production quality control efforts.

  • Coordinate construction documents and drawings with other trades.

  • Work with and support project team.

  • Maintain design intent and cohesiveness throughout all projects.

  • Provide drafting support to both Millwork and Construction Departments when appropriate.

  • Follow and maintain Design Department drafting standards

  • Monitor scope change throughout the drafting process.

  • Concise and timely completion of design and approval drawings.

  • Consistently meet or beat the design budget.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Architecture Preferred

  • Experience in AutoCAD

  • 5 years plus of experience in Revit Architectural Suite

  • High-end residential design with architectural millwork / casework required

  • 3D support software Sketch-up or other, hand sketching a plus

  • A passion or experience designing with mixed materials, plastic, metal, and woodworking

  • Proficient in MS Office Suite.

  • Knowledge of building codes, construction practices and methods.

  • Able to take direction and work as part of a team to meet project expectations of budget, scope and schedule

You must have a valid driver’s license and be able to operate a company vehicle.
